There’s just something really handy on Leopard, and that’s Quick Look. If you are not familiar with that, it’s the ability to see the contents of a file without opening it. Just browsing through the finder, you get to a file, press the space bar and bam! You have a quick preview of the file in question.
I am a very fond user of Code Line’s Sneak Peak Pro, you can also follow them on Twitter here. This Quick Look plugin allows you to preview Illustrator, InDesign, EPS and Freehand files without launching the applications. For me, it’s specially useful for my old FreeHand files that do not have a friendly preview available. This little handy plugin is $19.95.
Now, I just bumped into BushViewQL. This little plugin allows you to do something very simple: see the contents of Photoshop brush files… without loading the brushes into Photoshop. This is very good since I don’t load all my brushes at once and like to keep them in a separate place than the pre-installed ones. This plugin is a free download.
